Taking each day as it comes

Sometimes it is overwhelming to look at the whole big picture. All the stuff you have to do, all the stuff you are trying to be. Losing weight, exercise, being physically fit, financially fit, healthy, well, spiritual, balanced, a great mom, a great wife, a great friend.
Sometimes I sit back and say "whew!" We are all balancing loads of different things whether they are personal, health related, financial, etc. That IS life. One bucketload of stuff after another, and figuring out what to do with it.
Think back to when you were a child, and given a choice as to what to play with. You didn't play with everything at one time. You took one thing down and played with it until you didn't want to any more. Perhaps we should do that with things we face, because sometimes you can only deal with some things so much before you get overwhelmed.
Do what you can with it, but then be sure to put it back on the shelf for another day.
Each day has its blessings, and struggles. It doesn't matter which day, there IS always something. Take it one day at a time. Handle one thing at a time. If you can't handle it. Put it down and pray about it, put it away and deal with something else.
