I have come to realize
About 2 years ago I was able to lose 15lbs over 3-4 months. But during that time i was only going to school and working on the weekends, so I had plenty of time to workout. And i did. i would workout during the day, either walking, bike riding, or workout dvds, or a combonation. Then at night i would hope on my elliptical for anywhere from an hour or 2.
But now I'm back into the real world with working full time and taking several classes. I have 2 dogs that i do walk several times a day, I drive all over so I park a good distance away so i have to walk, and I take the stairs whenever I can. Plus I now live on the 3rd floor, so no matter what I'm clmbing stairs several times a day.
With being on the third floor, it makes it very difficult to do my workout dvds.
I had slowly gained 5 lbs since I haven't been working out constantly, and regained the last 10 lbs in 1 weekend cruise. YES OVER JUST ONE WEEKEND!!!!! That was back in first of Dec and have not been able to lose ANYTHING since then.
I'm going to the Dr tomorrow, hoping that maybe there is a problem with my thyroid and can get that corrected. Otherwise, I don't know what I can do to actually lose weight.
What I eat is varied from "good" to "bad" but I am for the most part eating small portions. There are some times when I have a voracious appetite and feel like no matter how much I eat, I don't feel like I ate anything. But I'm still conscious of it. Also I have bought some fruits and veggies for better snacks.
I really needed to vent. Crossing my fingers that the Dr visit tomorrow gives me some answers.
