Healthy Breakfast

My absolute favorite meal of every day is breakfast. I have a few "go to" breakfasts that make my morning super simple and sustain me through the first part of my day. On the rare occasion when I try to do something different or mix it up, I am normally disappointed by the results. Some breakfasts make me tired and others just don't stick with me, but my "go to" breakfasts make me a very happy girl.

Here are my two favorites:

1 c. cooked oatmeal
1 c. fresh fruit
6 oz. nonfat plain yogurt
1 egg


1 c. shredded wheat cereal
1 piece of fruit
1 c. skim milk
1 oz. almonds

I wish my other meals in the day were as easy to plan and as satisfying as my breakfast, but at least one of my meals each day is exactly right for me.

    Looks great! Breakfast is always easy to plan, its dinner that gets tricky.
