I woke up this morning with my whole body aching and that fuzzy feeling. I really started thinking about what I did different yesterday as I was feeling so good for the last several day. What I came up with thanks to something another sparks person mentioned in a blog (thank you Liz). It was mentioned that tomatoes might be a food that you have to watch if you have RA and might cause inflammation. I don't have RA, but I have very bad arthritis. Anyway since I log everything I eat and now am tracking how I feel. I looked back and I think there is a correlation between tomatoes and my aches and pains. Yesterday I ate a lot of tomato for lunch, like a cup and a half. So thanks to Liz I printed off a list of foods that might be reactive or cause inflammation. Oh and get this....even though I ate the right calories I was up a half pound today. So today I am going to look at that list and eat only foods that have the lowest possible reactive qualities. I really am thinking that there is something to this new diet/book The Plan. I am going to look into getting the book but I want to wait until I can get a hard copy of it as if I download it to my Kindle I can't print handouts and such. But looking forward to really trying the diet.
