Week 3 Review
Starting - 184
Last Week - 180.8
Current - 178.2
Week 3 was a great week!
-Obviously, I am happy that I lost 2.6 pounds. I am now back in the 170's - yay! Hopefully, I won't ever see the 180's again.
-My body seems to have adjusted to less calories. I am no longer thinking about food 24/7. During the first 2 weeks I was thinking about my next meal or snack even when I had just eaten.
-I continued to cook real food and it has helped me so much. In my past dieting attempts I relied alot on frozen lean cuisines. Although they tasted OK, they didn't keep me full very long. Eating real, non processed food has kept me full. Plus, cooking gives me something to do after work rather than sitting in front of the TV and eating.
-Yesterday I tried on my pile of pants that I made a few weeks ago and some of them now fit. I was thrilled to put some of them back in my closet. Of course I still have more to go, but seing these results was great and has given me the motivation to keep going.
This week's goals:
1. Water, water, water!!! I know I am not drinking enough water. I am doing a little better with drinking less diet soda, but still not enough. I need to find a way.
2. I want to lose 1.5 lbs
3. Cook something new this week!
Hopefully school will go good this week. Tomorrow is parent conference day. I don't mind talking to parents, but I have 19 conferences scheduled in 5 hours. I only have 1 time slot open. I know I won't have that spot free, however, because I always get behind and will end up using that extra time to get caught up. Basically I will be talking non stop from 2:00 - 7:00. Of course the parents that scheduled are the ones I don't really need to see. The parents of my 3 lowest kids aren't coming! Happens everytime.
