Hi All,

I saw my specialist on Thursday afternoon, a urologist regarding my kidney problems. He said that the test results showed 1 stone has already passed, the other stone is lodged in the kidney, he feels it won't move but can't be sure.

He was going to send me to a Vancouver hospital for a procedure where you are sedated and lay on a table for 40 minutes for the stone to be shocked, it is supposed to break up the stone, not a guarantee as my doctor said he usually has to send his patients back for more than 1 treatment.

It is a far different procedure than having lazier treatment due to the nature of being a kidney. I didn't like the idea of being exposed to all that radiation especially when there was no guarantee it would break up the stone. We came to the conclusion that we would monitor the stone for 6 months, providing it doesn't cause any problems they will do an ultrasound and see what it is doing, whether it has moved or increased in size etc... Then we will decide whether, the procedure, surgery is in order or not...

I would covet your prayers, I'm looking to Jesus for complete healing...Praise God...There is nothing too hard for our God to do...
