Inner Strength

Sunday, February 17, 2013

People have said they admire my strenth and if they were in situatons like I have been that they dont think they could handle it. This has taken me a while to comprehend. I feel broken at the time of hard times, but I always find my way out the other side somehow. Only thing I can figure is that there is a force deep inside that gives me just enough of a push to help me dig myself out of darkness into the sunshine. Now I need to work on my physical strength ;)

I envision inner strength as a flame that both warms and energizes. Sometimes it flickers, but it never (quite) goes out. Needs fanning on occasion, but it's always there at our core, ready to warm and stir us.

You are stronger than you think you are, inside and out.

Finding your way from the darkness out to the sunshine in troubled times is an awesome trait! You have the strength within yourself to do whatever you set out to do!
