This is my Valentines gift from my DH. It has been almost a year since we lost our sweet Chica so we figured it was about time to get a new companion. Isn't it amazing how much our four legged friends can add so much to our lives? Little Chico is almost 3 months old and he is a Spirited Underdog if I ever saw one! He keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh all the time. I do believe he is just what the dr ordered for me. Just wanted to share him with you.

I am A Chihuahua Lover too, and have two now. About a year and a half ago my older Chihuahua was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and the a month later we were told she would not live even another year. I decided to change Vets because the one who told us this seemed so reluctant to do much for my Best Friend even though I told her I did not want to put her to sleep, and I wanted to treat the Congestive Heart Failure. Then about 4 months later, my husband felt we should get a new Chihuahua Puppy to help me since I was so sad about the older one. While the looking for a new puppy went on, the new Vet started our Older one on a new Medication which really seemed to help her a lot. She did have some ups and downs for a while, but Thankfully has been stable for quite a while and has now liver well past the year we were first told is all she would make it. Last March we adopted the younger one,who at the time was 3 months old. She is now14 months old and full of energy and fun. The older one will turn 13 in April (after being told she would never make it to 12, we are so happy). To top it all off we adopted a Baby Siamese who was severely injured and abandoned to our new Vet last May. He was only about 3 months younger than our new Chihuahua and they have become such good friends. They have so much fun playing together,,,they have no idea they are not litter mates. The Siamese who is about 12 lbs now, is certain he is a Chihuahua. The new Chihuahua, who is only 3 lbs 14 oz at 14 months, has no idea she is NOT bigger than her Siamese "litter mate". We also enjoy laughing at all their antics.
