Just wanted to let everyone know that my challenge was a success! I went over 21 days but I have gotten in the habit of seeking out things that I'm proud of myself for, I purposely get up and do things that will make ME proud, I set aside time to do things that make me happy, and well I think I am happier too!
I have been reading a Course in Weight Loss b Marianne Williamson and I've found that it goes right along with Loving yourself and being kind during weight loss.
I really like pointing out my "five things", So I may just continue it.
1. I slept in! :-)
2. I stayed within my allotted nutrition goals and actually am UNDER. I need to eat something else before bed to make sure I'm not TOO far under what I should eat.
3. I worked out for 1:20 mins :) I worked up a good sweat, enjoyed it... and expect to see progress
4. I lost another pound. Not really logging it until I weigh in "officially" tomorrow.
5. I made a decision at some point early after awakening today that I would make this a GOOD day not matter how I felt initially after awakening. I decided to get some things done that I needed to do. Chose a cute outfit, did my hair, put on make up, and had a great day!
... and you know what, I am worth ALL of that. :)
Hope you guys are still loving yourself or at least considering that there may be some value in loving yourself while you get where you are going.
