I really cranked out the miles this week. With walking, running, pedaling and the elliptical I put in 109.9 miles in one week! I am averaging 13.5 miles a day for the month. Not shabby at all. I am going to try and keep my miles down tomorrow. I meant to take two rest days this weekend, but with 11.5 miles walked today I am counting today as an active recovery day rather than a rest day. Maybe tomorrow I will do better at taking it easy. Maybe not...
I had a great day. I walked the dog first thing, then met my one brother to go to the Farmer's Market. Bought some lovely, fresh goodies. Then it was out to my parents' place to cook them lunch. My other brother joined us today. We had green beans, sweet corn, baked potatoes, pork chops (I had half of one), sliced red peppers and cucumber, and bread and butter. It was a bit more food than I am used to eating for lunch, but it was very yummy. The green beans and corn were out of the freezer... from my parents' garden last summer, so they were especially tasty. After lunch I came home and took the dog for a nice, long walk. Then took him for a short walk after dinner. I also mucked around on the computer some and read for a while. Nothing earth shattering today. Just a really nice day.
I am not going to try and get quite as many miles in next week. It felt good this week, but I am pretty tired today. I don't want to overdo. lol (Maybe someone can lend me a little self restraint!)
