It has now been 95 days since I joined SparkPeople! And I'm so glad I joined! Between the tools that the website provides and the support that the community unfailingly gives, I feel like I have been gifted a great present! I can tell that I've made great strides on my journey!
By no means is it easy! I am still struggling with my unhealthy snacking habits. I am still striving to choose more nutritious meals. I am still working on finding the motivation to exercise, even when I don't want to. I am a work in progress. Yet I am progressing.
Valentine's Day was my 3 month Sparkversary. I had set mini-goals for myself, but I have not yet reached all of them. It is disappointing, but I know that while I did not reach all of those mini-goals I am at least a little closer than when I set the goal.
On Valentine's Day I wanted to reach 159.0 lbs.
I got down to 159.6(So close!)
I wanted to have lost inches with my measurements, too.
Waist (Goal 32) 32 inches (Goal Met!)
Hips (Goal 39) 39.5 inches
Thigh (Goal 23) 22.75 inches (Goal Exceeded!)
Upper Arm (Goal 11) 11 inches (Goal Met!)
My goal has been to burn 500 calories a day... I think I've done that 60% of the time... which means I still need to work on that.
I wanted to cut my after dinner snacking down to one serving/ one item.
Yeah. Goal Not Met. Still working on that.
Currently on a chocolate crave... maybe because of all the Valentine's advertisements?
I went through a whole bag of chocolate chips... and a batch of chocolate muffins this week.
I have been able to switch out the chocolate snack for a cheese serving on two nights this week.
I wanted to be able to complete a whole week of the Couch to 5k running program properly... I just finished Week 3 Day One! Goal Definitly Met and Exceeded!
I have also kept up with my water drinking! 8 glasses or more each day!
I'll have to check to see how long my streak for water is... Now I'm curious!
So in 95 days of Sparking I have lost 20.4 lbs!
(Which means I've lost 33.6 off my highest!)
I've also lost 4 inches off my waist, 2.5 off my hips, 3.25 off my thighs, and an inch off my upper arms!
