For the past 2 weeks I've upped my exercise and have yet to see a weight loss, but that is more than ok. I feel really really good. I normally walk 4 miles every Sunday with a friend, but we haven't had clear enough weather since the beginning of Jan (Live in PA) - I've been walking 2 miles every other night on the treadmill and this morning decided to make it 3. Well, I was watching The Today Show and wanted to see the next story coming up (meteors and asteroids)... so I kept walking - 4 miles total by the time I was done. Felt great, it took me 97 mins, and all 4 miles were at a 1% incline - I burned 731 calories!!!! and I really HATE the treadmill....lol oh well, tomorrow yoga - first time in years for that.
A friend told me that it can take up to 3 weeks for my body to not "freak" out and hang onto food and water when you start really exercising so I'm keeping on keeping on...
