Saturdays are one of my favorite days of the week. I love relaxing and doing nothing.....Wait that's not me, that's only a dream.....Reality is that Saturdays are really busy. Today is no exception. My little granddaughter got here at 9:45 am, and we did some errands, went to a bunch of stores, cleaned the bathrooms. We are potty training so it's kind of a pain to take her places. She is doing really well with the potty training thing, but it's overwhelming at times.
I have to plan my menu for next week, put my grocery list together, and go grocery shopping tomorrow. My son is working today, so I have the little one until he gets out of work at 5pm. It makes for a long day, especially because she isn't feeling well. We didn't go grocery shopping today because she can't go to great grandma and great grandpa's house being sick, and I do all of their grocery shopping. It's fun stuff. I'm feeling a bit off today too, just exhausted. I don't know if it's because I'm coming down with something or if it's true exhaustion. It could be some of both.
BUT today is a good day, I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. Spending time with the little one who is the love of my life makes me smile. No matter what. I don't like it when she doesn't feel good, but that just means she snuggles with me more.
I am the only one who can do this for myself.

I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ 15 flights of stairs
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
