Where have I been Hiding

Saturday, February 16, 2013

The last few days have been crazy but fun, with a lot of romance, which is my word of the year.
Wednesday afternoon, e drove to Hubbards which is maybe 40 mins from here they have a lovely little restaurant there called The Trellis Cafe, everything is made from scratch, this was to be or valentine lunch, I had checked ahead of time and I could eat there chickpeacoconut curry with quinoa. It was such a nice day, the sun was shining and it was nice to get out on our own, we had a great conversation driving which for us is inusual as we get lost in our own thoughts. When we arrived we ordered, I indeed had the chickpea coconut curry which was devine, the curry had sweetpotato and apple through it, it was so yummy, Wayne had th trelis burger with home fries, the meal was delicious. After lunch we decided to drive the back road home it is a beautiful drive, we stopped in at Bridgewater to have my phone fixed at Bell, but our lovely guy suggested a new phone for me, it is a touch phone so a lot easier for me than a slide phone. Then home we went. Janos` had taekwando, so we had a nice snuggly evening together.
Thursday we went a small walk on the trail, not too far we did not want a repeat of our snowshoe earlier in the week where it caused the pain to increase. On the trail we held hands kicked the snow crunched through the snow and laughed, we laughed so hard at times, I thought I was going to pee myself, it was so much fun. Then later we had nsmooma and her hubby over for coffee, we chatted about cookbooks, then Wayne got talking about the new actifry, I am sure he has fallen in love with it, well he makes this tofuin it that is too die for, so he made up some and we nibbled on it as we chatted a great afternoon with great friends. In the evening Jaos` was staying at his friends so we curled upon the couch together and watched the closer.
Friday saw us heading early to Dartmouth to pick up Jared for the weekend, Wayne dropped me of at Healthy4me's for coffee, we had tea and looked over cook books and talked about diets and naturopaths it was so much fun, but time went so fast, before we new it, it was time to go. We popped into Pete's and Planet Organic on the way home. Last night was Poutine night, I had home made sweet potato fries, with home made gravy made with onions and tamari, it was so yummy the rest had home made fries with gravy and cheese, we then all relaxed and watched a few more episodes of the closer. Last night I went to bed early as my pain was bad but not too bad.
Then today, has been a quieter day although I did make carrot muffins using a new recipe from my new cookbooks the flying Apron Kitchens gluten free and vegan cook book. Oh man they are delicious, then I made lentil soup for lunch, Jared and Wayne split wood, tonight is pizza but I am going to try and make foccacia.
What a wonderful last few days

So glad God is answering your prayers and giving you these special days. We all need to be committed to that word Romance in our marriages. It only happens when we do it, it doesn't just happen on its own. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We have missed your input in LH.

Anjay I am so very happy for you! It is a joy to see the Lord answering prayers!!
Can you do oats, honey, pumpkin or apple sauce, eggs, baking soda, vanilla? Those are the basic ingredients for great muffins. Fruit and nuts can be added if you can tolerate them.

OH I am so glad that you are doing well. Even just the food plan seems to be going good for you! So the muffins were good? I may have to get that cookbook cos I know I can't not have some "grain' type food ie muffin, bread cookie etc.
Good for you and glad you and Wayne are doing well too. Was so fun to see you and visit.
Have a great weekend. HUGS
