For those who grieve...

Saturday, February 16, 2013

"Love Never Forgets". Gone from this world, but safe forever in heaven's embrace-saying goodbye to someone we hold dear is one of the most difficult roads we travel

I belong to a team for those who have lost a loved one and have felt so inadequate to love and ease their pain the last few days...Valentines Day is especially hard for those who have lost a spouse and it just hurts me for their pain...This morning I saw this and being a very visual person felt i wanted to share this Precious Moments figure with each of those who grieve today. Gentle hugs and prayers for peace and comfort.

And this one is for those who have lost infants. I weep with you but also trust the Lord of the universe to care for my little one better than I could ever have done. God of comfort come close to those how hurt so deeply today.

Our Ben was such a wonderful human being. I sure miss talking to him. I sure miss his hugs. I cannot even imagine loosing a baby. The tear trickling down the mother's cheek is certainly a very loving touch to that figurine . . .

Oh yes...it is very very hard to lose a loved one. Living alone has been so hard for me...and knowing my parents are 86 years old makes me treasure each minute.
Life is hard....but God has us by the hand.

Very sweet statues. I have lived through many, many painful losses, but no recent ones, for which I thank God. I hope you were able to be of help to those who have fresh losses.

Thank you for this blog. I am missing my parents a lot right now. Mom and I used to send each other cards for every holiday we could find a card for! Of course, the phone calls are missed as well. They lived in Pa and I in Fl. Mom died 2.5 yrs ago and Dad just 6 months ago.
