Friday's run was 4.4 miles, mostly on concrete. ('extended Pawnee loop') The split was 2.6 miles jogging, 1.8 miles walking + warmup.
The distance of the jogging segments has remained fairly consistent but I'm making good progress on my HR and breathing. A few weeks ago my breathing was still chaotic, last week I was falling into a 1:2 pattern, and yesterday I was edging towards 2:2. Not quite yet though - I was still taking 1:2 breaths at times and of course at the end of the jogging segment.
