Motivation?

Saturday, February 16, 2013

Looking for motivation. Again. Clearly I need to re-motivate myself daily. Sometime more often than that.

I have a friend I often take vacation with. Sometimes she goes with her family, sometimes I go with them, and sometimes I go alone and visit friends and family. Lately we have started talking about take a cruise. Just us. Her hubby has no interest. YAY!

My first thought was that this would provide the missing motivation to stick to my plan of a new healthy lifestyle. Yippee!!!

But it doesn't seem to be the case so far.

Was wondering if it works for my SparksFriends?

Actually, I've cruied twice before. And both times I've gained 4 pounds. And each time I've declared that to be a victory!

Every one I've ever known who has taken a cruise has gained substantial amounts of weight.

Moreover, one of the largest cruise lines has had several disaster in the last several years.

Having said all that, if my wife wanted to go on a cruise (she's mentioned it in the past), I'd go and I'd darn well make sure that I had a plan to continue to lose weight.
