Mom still in ICU - UGH!!!

Saturday, February 16, 2013

Mom was supposed to go home yesterday, but last minute, it didn't happen. They started her discharge paperwork and everything. At the last minute, her numbers went crazy again and when she got up, she felt weird, so they're keeping her in there longer. I'd rather that than have something happen when she gets home. She's so stubborn that she probably would ignore her symptoms like she did when all this started. I hope they get it all figured out soon.

I hope they get it figured out also and that she starts to feel better and goes home soon.

As you said it's better it happened where the professionals can handle it.
This is a tough situation though. Hang in there.

After experiencing very similar circumstances, with my father, I can understand exactly how frustrating and scary it was when this happened. I will hold your mom in prayer, hold you in prayer and also the medical staff treating her. Parents can be stubborn...let our love for them always be more....

It's probably best she stay so they can keep an eye on her. Hope they figure it out for her.

I can understand the frustration with your love ones. Your Parents feel they are still in control. Refusing to believe they need help. I know you want her home. But rest assure it will be worth it when she is there. emoticon
