TED... Todmorden, Jamie Oliver and Robyn O'Brien

Saturday, February 16, 2013

If you haven't seen or heard of TED, it's worth a look... and then another look. There are videos on every imaginable subject. My favorite, which got a lot of people excited in my town is www.ted.com/talks/pam_wa

If you haven't seen Jamie Oliver, from Food Revolution, this video alone is an eye opener!

Robyn O'Brien"s speech at TED Milehigh really got my attention. She and her family's life changed after her daughter had an allergic reaction at breakfast one morning.

I don't use chemicals and pesticides in my garden. I also only purchase non-GMO seeds. Sadly, I haven't really paid attention to the milk I buy or many of the other products. Change can start slowly, but it needs to start.

We have to remember not to throw out the baby with the bathwater. Not all science is bad science. Do you use Canola oil?
