Why I pay for a gym membership that I barely use

Saturday, February 16, 2013

The reason is simple. The only thing to do at the gym is get fit. No phone(I lock mine up), no laundry, no distractions. Everywhere you look people are sweating and breathing heavy. They are all there for a common purpose-fitness. It is motivating.

It doesn't hurt that my gym is uber cheap emoticon

Guess who is heading to the gym? If you said emoticon "That Girl" you would be correct!

Tootles, I am off to sweat emoticon

I too have a gym membership and it has been extremely helpful and motivating. Isn't there a saying about if you surround yourself with good people it will make you good? I choose to go to the gym and surround myself with fit people in the hopes that I will become fit as well

Thinking about joining a gym again but not sure how often I will use it. I have a treadmill at home but it's a chep one that the belt keeps needing readjusted. Will think about tuesday after I meet with my advisor to see which classes I am taking so I will know how much time I'll have. emoticon
