The Journey

Saturday, February 16, 2013

I'm loving this journey to re-discovering I still can move and exercise... even after the accident. Pain free, if I do it in the community Aquatics Center. Lots of opportunity there to walk the lazy river... and I now do 70 laps walking that river, =='s a mile. I keep doing it faster, beating the time from the last time.

I am not doing it all perfect. Ate too much the past two days... Valentines Day was awesome, and my husband has blessed me with his love and encouragement. I am hoping he stays this journey with me... as he struggles with over-weight the same as I do. Portion control is his big weakness. The man doesn't know what a little bit is... lol. Even sugar free pudding... he takes half the bowl for one serving. So we both have our thing. Each of us is trying. My benifit is that because I am disabled... I can work harder at all this. He is doing both... and works with food daily. A big temptation. So I pray for him... he just had a stint put in... and needs to do this for himself and his heart.

Praying for you both. This is a tough journey but not impossible.
