Experimenting with Juicing

Saturday, February 16, 2013

Last night I bought a NutriBullet using gift cards I received from Christmas. I have seen the commercials on TV and I have been reading online about the benefits of juicing. I have issues with my stomach and I have decided I am tired of suffering. Something has to change. Not to mention, I am feeling very miserable and swollen. My energy level is nonexistent also. I am hoping to incorporate more fruits and vegetables to my diet and hopefully in turn this will help my stomach issues and give me more energy. I also bought a couple of books on juicing and I have been reading blogs online of people who have completed juice fasts. I am hoping to start with a 1 day juice fast to see how it goes.

Good luck with the juicing, i like doing it during the summer and i think it works out pretty well because if you mix a lot of veggies and fruits so you end up with a lot of fiber.

I have a Nutribullet as well. So far, I've used it to make my smoothies! But, I want to increase my veggie intake as well. Please stay in touch and let us know how you're doing!

I've not tried juicing before but am thinking about it. May it works out for you.

I didn't do a juice a fast, but I do juice. My favorite: 4 carrots, 2 apples, 1/4-1/2 lemon, and a slice of ginger root. Great after a workout---or anytime!
