Another (nearly) two pounds down, even though I went out twice (!!) this week AND stuffed myself at a brilliant restaurant on Valentine's day.
This week I discovered the joy of dancing. Like... REALLY dancing at a club instead of a) getting wasted or b) spending all night trying to find someone to hook up with. I am super excited about this new discovery! It allows me to go clubbing more often because I don't drink as much (so it's cheaper) and it counts as cardio! (Also, you know, I have a better chance of scoring :D)
In other news, I'm finally starting to feel a little bit like I belong here. I mean I'm connecting with more and more people, I'm being a part of every event AND I hooked up with this guy. Now I realize that there is nothing new with me having one night stands, but this guy actually found me on facebook and wants to be friends, or something. So yay.
It's my birthday next week, and my best friend EVER is coming to town to celebrate it! YAY. I miss her. A lot! I'm totally looking forward to it, but at the same time I'm a little disappointed that I've fallen behind on my weight loss schedule. I was supposed to have lost 12 lbs (total) by the time my birthday rolled around, but as of today, I'm only at 8 lbs.
Oh well, I still feel better about myself than I have in at least two years, and I will celebrate that no matter what!!
