Since we started tearing up the old floors in anticipation of the new ones, my house has been a maddening disarray. Nothing seems to be in its proper place. Tools are out and about. Right now I cannot find either of by 12 inch pipe wrenches and I need one to re install the radiators. They're here somewhere.
Furniture everywhere. Dust covers everything. And now I have new appliances in my foyer, but none in my kitchen or laundry. Fortunately, they hauled off the old ones from my backyard. It was starting to look like ... fill in you own prejudicial idea.
The problem with a project like this is everytime you look, there is something else you could fix, plaster, paint, trim, redo, etc. It's like a bad piece of beef; the more we chew it, the bigger it gets.
Tonight, after She(WMBO) went to bed, I decided to reclaim one room. Just one. Not the whole house. Just one room.
I picked the living room.
When She(WMBO) comes down for coffee tomorrow, she will be pleased.
