So, I finally hit my first weight loss goal which was to get out of the 240's. WOOT! HOWEVER, for some reason, I can't stop eating everything in sight... which means I am pretty much undoing my hard work. : /

I need to get healthy snacks in this house. Something easy to grab. I REALLY need to get rid of pepsi. That is my downfall. It's a horrible addiction that I have. I drink it like I should be drinking water.

We leave on vacation in 4 months. I really want to be under 200 by then. With a lot of hard work and dedication, I think I can lose this 39 pounds by then. Heres to hoping!

Well, happy losing everyone!

Try or look on pinterest for some great low calorie but filling snacks. I too get super hungry the more I workout, and tend to grab whatever is around. My favorite is lowfat cheese sticks or yogurt. For your pepsi addiction, I loved Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper when I was in the Navy, so to wean myself off it without drinking just plain water, I tried Crystal Light packages. They come in many different flavors, and you would be getting the hydration you need, the flavor you crave with fewer calories.

Hoping you reach your goal before vacation time! emoticon emoticon

A while back there was Nutrisystem ad with Janet Jackson where she said something to the effect of, "You can't wish for it or hope for it. You have to make it happen." That really hit home with me. I have spent years wishing that I could get healthy, lose weight, get financially sound, but it never happened. Sure, I tried for a while and then something would happen and I would give up. After that ad, I started trying to make small changes that I new I could achieve and stick with. I joined the Y and started to exercise a little at a time. Switched my coffee with cream and sugar to tea with nothing in the morning. Started taking my vitamins again. All small changes, one at a time. Then I found Sparkpeople and it made my diet so easy. It has really helped me a lot. I realized that every choice I make is either a choice to stay fat and unhealthy or one to be healthy. I am choosing healthy. Right now I am really sick with a lung problem so I can't do my exercise, but I am still following my eating plan, drinking my water, taking my vitamins and working toward my goal of getting healthy. Don't give up because of a bad time. Try to figure out what was setting you off and get support to help you with those things. Remember a journey of a 1000 miles begins with the first step. You can do it!
