I didn't want to do anything today, but I walked the dog three times, went to the gym and cleaned up a little before my company came this afternoon. (I didn't walk the dog three times before my company arrived, but rather over the course of the entire day.) All together I got in over 19 miles walking, running, pedaling and on the elliptical. Not bad for not wanting to do anything! I had to wage a bitter battle with myself to get myself back out the door to the gym. I only ran 2.4 miles on the treadmill today though. I just didn't have a full 30 minutes in my legs today. So, I got on the elliptical for 35 minutes instead. I didn't have time to do a full ST workout today, but I did increase the weight on one of the two machines I did use. I started out with just 25 pounds on the overhead press, and now I am up to 40 pounds, so I am making progress.
I want to get an air popper, so I can make my own popcorn. I don't have much kitchen space, but I could store it in the hall closet. My parents used to have one, and I remember really enjoying fresh popped popcorn. Anybody use one?
I did pretty well with food today. I have a protein shake for lunch on the days I go to the gym. I actually make it more like a smoothie with fruit in it. I haven't found a brand of protein powder I really like yet, but what I have is okay... just not wonderful. I am actually hungry today for a change. I usually eat because if I don't my hands start to shake, rather from a desire to eat. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy food, but most of the time I would skip it if I could.
Speaking of food... I am off to the Farmer's Market in the morning, then lunch with my parents. No snowshoeing though, as all the snow has melted.
