So today I went to the running store and had my walk videotaped and analyzed and my feet sized. I had very knowledgeable help..the owner of the store.
Thought/think I found a pair of shoes. Tonight when I started the workout my right foot felt great but the arch was bothering my left foot (weird I know). During my workout I, again, had a problem with my toes burning but the arch didn't bother me as much the longer I wore it. And after my workout my feet are hurting still/again.
So...I don't know if I just chose the wrong shoes or if I will have these problems until I lose more weight.
They have a 7 day inside wear only return policy so I'll try them a few more days but am disappointed. Guess I thought good shoes would take care of the toes and pain in my feet problems.
On the plus side I'm getting back to my workouts the way they were before I got sick. Tonight did over 3 miles in an hour and 5 minutes. I also tried the elliptical but only did 1 minute and my legs were jello! lol Before my mom died, over 10 years ago, I did 20-30 minutes on that thing..man my thighs were in much better shape at that time then I realized! Of course I also didn't walk an hour on the treadmill before doing it but don't think that is the problem. But I'm determined to beat that elliptical so am going to work at until I am much better.
3k walk is a week from Sunday!!!
