I went to Adoration
I stayed for Mass
Then I stayed for Stations of the Cross.
I got home. Made some Brown Rice. Ate some Rice with my Coffee. Got on my computer. Checked the Menu of where I was going for lunch logged my food.
Shortly after my cousin came and we went out to lunch.
Now I would normally go to the fitness center after church but I had already decided that today wasn't going to be about me and my needs. I wanted to spend time with my cousin. Well, there you go it was about my needs after all.
After lunch we went to Mt Horeb to attend a concert of first graders. Her granddaughter's class. There were about 160-180 little sweet adorable kids on stage. They were all sizes! I could spot some of the kids that looked like they were carrying a few extra pounds around but then I looked around the gym and there were a lot of parents and grands that were packing a few extra as well. That's right I live in WI!
One time, a long time ago I came home to WI for a visit. I was well over 300 lbs at the time. I looked around and felt at home! I realized at the time that it was because I wasn't the odd person. They were what I called my sisters under the skin.
I went back to CA to work and looked around. There they were my sisters under the skin, I still felt like the odd person out. I don't think these sisters were comfortable in their skin. Back home in WI, I think my sisters (under the skin) were in fact very comfortable with who they were.
Of course I may have it all wrong. I think I made the right decision to move back to WI. I think all of the decisions I made whether right or wrong throughout my lifetime led me right here to Spark People.
This is totally unrelated but I saw something on the bottom of an email from spark people that said this: WWSGD- What Would Spark Guy Do. Just think of the awesome daunting responsibility that Paul placed on Spark Guy! (I think it was Paul) Jesus is one thing but spark guy? I have nothing but the utmost respect for spark guy. Hey I met the man! Woo Hoo Spark Guy! Thank you for making this website totally free. I couldn't have come this far without you. God bless you Spark Guy!
