Hmmm, already forgetting to do the daily bootcamp videos! So I just did days 2 and 3 to catch me up. Felt like a wimp on some of them! Can't wait until they are all easy again.
So today was the BIG day for Mickey and Bobo to start exploring outside. I've been greatly anticipating this because they are two too much furry frenzy for my little cabin. They are tuckered out now. They've only spent an hour this morning and then 15 minutes this afternoon, but it was a whole lotta well-needed feline stimulation.
Sunny and gorgeous outside today, despite the occassional windy chill. Friday is my volunteer day at the horse therapeutic riding center, and I got to run around the indoor arena for 30 minutes. Every little bit adds up.
In my week of making different choices, this morning I thought about all the things I wanted to accomplish BEFORE I got out of bed. I'm already well into the weekend with several things done already.
Went grocery shopping and got the frig well stocked up with fruit and veggies. Instead of buying candy I got a bag of chocolate chips for just a wee bit 'o chocolate when the urge hits. But am really striving for cutting back on the refined sugars. Oy, yesterday at work a coworker brought in "morning" goodies and then "afternoon" goodies. Which adds up to more weekend fitness minutes for this elf.
Fire that co-worker! J/K Every now and then, someone brings in something sweet into the office, (my office is far away, but i have to trek in every now and then) and my response is, "Who brought in the devil?!" Of course, I used to be the one bringing in donuts and coffee. Not anymore. In fact, for my Union meetings, I try to bring in fruit or something healthy, besides the donuts. I should do the same for my co-workers.
I get chocolate cravings every now and then too and Swiss Miss cocoa does it for me. Plus, it's hot, so I feel fuller. Speaking of, I believe I will have a cup. 1200 days ago
