Valentines a success - even though DS had some volatile time

Friday, February 15, 2013

Good Morning. We had a lovely dinner and I made some choices. My DH did not do so good, but it still was a nice evening. DH drank too much but I did not say anything. We were having a nice time when GF sends me a text - DS and I are arguing and I am leaving the apt. I thought oh my. I did get a hold of DS and she walked out of the apt for 20 minutes and then came back. They talked it out- not sure what the problem was but DS says she is so hormonal that she flies off the handle at the slightest thing. He says I wish she would not text you and wreck your night. I told him that I can not wait for her to delivery so she is less emotional. But knowing from my DD- one is very hormonal after delivery, too. They have the apt organized for the baby, but I think she has too much time on her hands and she thinks too much. Heaven knows if the young people would just sit down and read. They just do not know how to be quiet and peaceful. Any ways, I went to the gym this morning and I am beat. Hopeful going to take a bath later and go to bed. Have a good day!! emoticon

Watch her for postpartum depression, particularly if she has depressive episodes before.

I agree she should try to handle her own problems with your son, and yes, I know how emotional I was when I was expecting, but sure would never have thought to complain to my Mother, she would probably sided with my DH, emoticon somethings you just need to keep between the two of them
glad your Valentines Day was so so, mine was too.

sorry to hear that DS is having such a difficult time w/GF. You're right, though. The hormones are still "out of whack" after delivery as well. **SIGH** Hope they do get on an even keel.

and you're right, too. There is so much "need" on the part of young people today to be constantly occupied . . . listening to something, watching something, computer, TV. OY No concept of how to be alone with your thoughts for a few minutes!

HUGS and hope it's a good weekend. Glad that you had a nice evening yesterday.
