This is my life goal for the next year and how I plan on accomplishing it.
I want to be able to get in and out of my kayak without help. To do this I will have to build up the the leg, core, and arm strength needed by exercise and strength training.
To be able to comfortably walk up and down the paths to the beach or hills without losing my breath. It will take the cardiac training I plan to put in place - walking daily, meditating, and taking on the Yoga or Tai chi I want to complete.
To accomplish something every day - a hobby or class and have the energy to complete it. To look and feel healthy.
Be able to walk and play with my Grandkids, garden in the summer, and cross country in the winter again. To do my exercises and breath deeply, give to me neighborhood and church. To have a good mind and make good choices. Wish me luck, I'm starting now!
