Even if I wanted to I can't

Recently I had a conversation with a coworker who is thin and she told me to not worry about losing weight so much...just be happy with yourself. My response was even if I wanted to do that I wouldn't be able to cause you can't turn on the tv or the radio or seeing a chonic dieter at the office always puting pressure on us to lose weight....The pressure is on...whether its a gym member ship, an exercise show or a yogurt commercia or even a moviel...the pressure is there to always be something or someone else...its like saying don't be happy with you...this person that awaits you is happier so strive for that person...you can be that person thru makeup and surgery and doctors and spending lots and lots and lots of money of course. Then you'll be there....H A P P Y....right?
We are constantly under pressure whether we put that pressure on ourselves or whether others are knowingly or unknowingly putting pressure on us...go to the beach in a 2 piece if you are 20 lbs or so over weight and you'll see what I'm talking about...heck probably if you are not stick people thin, you will notice stares and smiks and probably downright laughter...its crazy...so even if I wanted to be satisfied being overweight...I never ever would be....they won't let me and I won't let myself...
