I missed yesterday. Work has remained ramped up a bit, so by the time the day is done my brain is squished and I'm more than ready and happy to step away from the keyboard!
We're going to skip the nutritional analysis of Wednesday and Thursday. You can check my shared nutrition tracker if you're really interested. Yesterday ended up with dinner out, thanks to Bill. I ended up over calories in, and short on calories out. It happens, and I'm moving on.
It was a nice Valentine's day in that Bill brought Bubbie down to work and we walked along the waterfront together. It was a wonderful way to spend my lunch half hour, with my two favorite guys.
My sleep pattern is out of whack right now, which is wreaking havoc with my willpower and motivation. Waking up at 2:30-2:45 am makes for a very long day and being extra tired piled on top of being work-brain tired!
Plus you know what happens when I'm tired at night at home - I inhale the snack cabinet at every opportunity. Between the 28DL challenge with Team Zombie and not wanting to have to work off extra lbs for next Wednesday's WI, I'm fighting against the urg.
I'm hoping I can catch up a bit of sleep over the weekend, although it's said that you can't really catch up on more than an hour of sleep a night, so.. we'll see.
Something positive about me - hmmmm.
I have been contributing positively to my group at work, and making suggestions that are well received and may help improve our users' experiences in the midst of large, potentially uncomfortable changes.

My running has suffered this week, in that I haven't. At all. I've walked, but it's not the same as running. I will. I will run tomorrow morning before my training class. I'll end up spending a good 4-5 hours at the shelter tomorrow, which is not a hardship for me at all! We're planning on going to the grocery after that to stock up on essentials, then spending Sunday smothering the puppies with love, and doing laundry. Sounds like a plan!
