It has been such a busy week, I am SO glad it's Friday!! Looking forward to a relaxing weekend. T's dad is going to babysit tomorrow so that we can go catch a movie. I think we are going to see "Beautiful Creatures" - it looks creepy and fun :) I may have to splurge and get a small popcorn. I am one of those people that just has to have movie snacks!! EEK! Or maybe I will sneak in a bag of my own low-cal popcorn ..
Last night we went to Red Robin for dinner. We tried to go to Applebee's first and I had already looked at the menu and decided on a low-cal option. Unfortunately it was PACKED, probably because it is right next to our movie theater. So we drove across town to Red Robin which was hardly busy at all, but I ended up eating more than planned. I did okay though, considering the options, and since I had a good workout yesterday morning I didn't let myself feel guilty.
I am SO sore from my workout yesterday. I did 15 minutes of My Shape, which included squats, lunges, crunches, leg lifts, planks, etc all in rapid succession. Then later in the day I did a round of expert boxing on the Wii Fit, plus a set of lunges. Lunges KILL ME. So it wasn't a lot of time working out, but it was definitely intensive for me.
Today I would love to squeeze in some Wii Fit, but I have laundry up to my armpits. Since it is in the basement, I am going up and down the stairs as quickly as I can each time I switch loads, and I'm walking in place while folding. PHEW. It's amazing how small bursts of movement can wear me out -- clearly a sign that I need more movement!!
I haven't been tracking my food and water today, I should probably get on that. Although I am tempted to just say screw it today. I'm busy enough with other things. Time to switch the laundry again and then it's on to paperwork! There's a mountain of it that I've been avoiding like the plague!
