Part of our weekend challenge is to post a blog each day with a positive thought about ourselves. I don't like writing short blog posts, so I think I will just end up editing this one every day. But that's not really important!
Friday: I do not look like I weigh what I do. I'm not sure if that's a *good* thing, but for me it is definitely positive. I consider myself lucky that at just over 200 pounds, I don't look like I belong on The Biggest Loser. Maybe it contributed to my weight gain, but maybe it didn't. But I think I would be way more depressed about the situation if I looked 200 pounds. So hooray for the good genes or whatever causes this phenomenon!
Saturday: I am a very fast reader. I love this about myself. I enjoy being able to get through books in much less time than it takes other people. Not because it makes me feel superior to others, but because I just love to read and if I were a slower reader, I wouldn't get through even half of the books I want to read in my lifetime. Reading makes me really happy, and I'm grateful that I have the ability to do it.
Sunday: I have a good memory. I've always been able to memorize songs and movie quotes quickly and easily. Which is all well and good for fun things. It also comes in handy at work when I have to learn new techniques. It definitely made school 100% less stressful.
