Just Over Four Weeks Away

Friday, February 15, 2013

I was able to get this week's long run done outside. Tomorrow will be four weeks till my second half-marathon. The exciting thing is that i will be sharing this experience with a young man from our church and one of our deacons, both of whom will be running their first half-marathon.

Hope your Friday is going well.

WTG on taking advantage of running outside. I know you will do well on the 1/2 marathon. I was going to do that this year, but my knees weren't ready for it yet. Keep the training up!

Wow! Go get em tiger! I am doing my first 5K in April and I have a long way to go before I can run that far. Any advice for first timers? Maybe I will be able to do the longer runs after I get this 5K done.

I envy that outdoor run. It has been so cold here in MN that I only ran once or twice outside. I have 10 weeks til my half. Wish you and your fellow runners success at yours.

I like your SUCCESS. It's only been since this past Dec that I joined Sparks and I am getting into a strength and cardio routine. It's been a little tricky for me. But, when I read a post like yours...it is inspiring. Good for you. emoticon
