Just Over Four Weeks Away

Friday, February 15, 2013

I was able to get this week's long run done outside. Tomorrow will be four weeks till my second half-marathon. The exciting thing is that i will be sharing this experience with a young man from our church and one of our deacons, both of whom will be running their first half-marathon.

Hope your Friday is going well.

WTG on taking advantage of running outside. I know you will do well on the 1/2 marathon. I was going to do that this year, but my knees weren't ready for it yet. Keep the training up!

God bless!

Wow! Go get em tiger! I am doing my first 5K in April and I have a long way to go before I can run that far. Any advice for first timers? Maybe I will be able to do the longer runs after I get this 5K done.

I envy that outdoor run. It has been so cold here in MN that I only ran once or twice outside. I have 10 weeks til my half. Wish you and your fellow runners success at yours.

You get to set the example.
No pressure.
Are you going to let them beat you?
Hope all continues to go well.

I like your SUCCESS. It's only been since this past Dec that I joined Sparks and I am getting into a strength and cardio routine. It's been a little tricky for me. But, when I read a post like is inspiring. Good for you. emoticon
