Body or Tracker?

Friday, February 15, 2013

So I've been eating mostly healthy foods, but I'm still hungry once I reach my 1600-calorie daily limit. Do I listen to my body and go ahead and eat on those days, or do I listen to the tracker and go to bed hungry?? So far, I've been leaning toward the "listening to my body" side of things, but I'm not convinced this is the best choice in the long run. Advice? Thanks!

Thanks, guys! I'm readjusting my expectations and hopes to losing only half a pound per week. That'll give me a little higher calorie threshold. And I'll try beefing up the water consumption. Last night I went over my calorie allowance again, but I did say no to dessert at a friend's house, so that was an accomplishment nonetheless!

I agree with ANY. Sometimes a glass of water can do the trick. But I also give in sometimes and go over. Even worse, I'll go to bed hungry and wake up at 4 a.m. and gobble down some nuts or animal crackers, which is not good. Let me know when you figure out what works! lol

You may have to look at your tracker and work towards for the next day, see if the foods you are eating are filling or just empty calories, and maybe an extra glass of water is what is needed to bite those hunger, with these methods i have been doing really well with the calorie range sparkpeople has given me. And i do get my water in.
