Throw out your rear-view mirror

I decided to subscribe to Jonathan Roche's latest challenge over on FlyLady and wondered why I wasnt recieving his emails. There they were in my junk file! I read his 15 Secrets to Better Health. Nothing really earth-shattering here for those of us who Spark. But one take-away idea is to quit dwelling on the past. We need to quit regretting our missed exercises and overeating from yesterday. There is nothing we can do about what happened in the past. Today is a fresh day. Let's make it a great one.

I am going to attempt to adopt that idea again in my own personal life. I have made mistakes in my life and my mind returns to those episodes again and again. I am going to remember that there is nothing I can do about what happened in the past. I am going to focus on today and the future. In interviews, I'm not going to be sorry about the past. I am going to focus on the present, things I've learned about myself since then, and the fact that I am a great person and would be an asset to any organization.
