My V-day

Yesterday was amazing. Ryan had off and we spent it watching movies. We had agreed on no gifts but around 5pm I get a huge package and when I pen it it is filled with roses. We attempted cupcakes using water, cake mix, and yogurt. Well that was an epic fail!!! They pretty much never cooked. I(t was really fun though.

Dinner was nice! Fresh broccoli, corn, potato, and steak. We usually eat ribeyes (I avoid the fat) but last night we did sirloin. It is a leaner cut! But Ryan got a trager grill and it is electric and feeds in pellets and what not. So it was more rare than I'd like but still good. It wasn't bleeding by any means but still to red. I like pink not red.

He also surprised me with tickets to a show next week! Excited for it! Just wish I had a dress to wear. Really don't have the money to go buy a new one, maybe I can squeeze into an old one haha. If not I'll wear dress pants and a nice shirt.

Next month will mark 3 years with Ryan!!! Very excited, he's wonderful. I told him not to do anything to big. He wants to because last year I was in Houston for it for my radioactive iodine treatment. He sent me flowers but felt that wasn't enough. I told him to save the money to do an extravagant proposal haha. Or to add that money saved to student loans.

He works all weekend sadly. Might wake up at 2:30am tomorrow and cook him breakfast and pack him a lunch. He has to be at work by like 4:35. O he also made me breakfast in bed yesterday! Turkey sausage and egg whites, YUM.

Well hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Keep up all the good work!!!!

Hmmm...Sounds grand. May seem small to others, but, like you, I appreciate the small moments my hubby provides.
