5:45 was early to get up and be at the hospital. At least I wasn't hungry at that time, so didn't have to deal with that issue. Everything went fine, and the polyps were removed in my uterus. Now I am home, resting, and recuperating. No problems, and the tissue is being biopsied. I will have those results in a couple weeks.
Glad to have that behind me.
A funny thing happened last night, Valentine's Day.
We decided we would go to see Safe Haven, and chose a restaurant close by. We were enjoying our shared meal - fresh scallop dinner - fried - but this restaurant does them so impeccably, there is no greasy residue and they are fully digestible, long with a nice tossed salad and we both ignored the garlic bread - When my doctor and his wife came in to the same restaurant. The same doc doing the surgery this morning.
When we left, they took our table. We said hello.
From there we stopped at Wally world to pick up a couple things and kill a few minutes before the movie, then drove over for the 7:20 showing. As we were getting out and heading over, my doctor and his wife were crossing the street too. Again, we said hello, and we each asked if we were stalking the other.
Even in the movies, we ended up in the same row.
At least I felt good that the doctor was treating his wife to a Valentine's date, and he has good taste in movies and restaurants. Also, that he was allowing himself a chance to relax and refresh before facing surgery this morning.
So before the surgery, we discussed the movie.
All is well. Now it is nap time.
