Okay so, today was the very first day I saw a 1 at the beginning of my weight, so I'm being cautious. Very cautious.
I stayed within caloric ranges and stayed within ratios yesterday, even with it being Valentine's Day. My boss gave us ladies 2 Belgian hazelnut truffles in a small but pretty leather box. Each truffle is about 75 calories. I ate one yesterday, and will be enjoying the other today. My hubby and I "celebrated" Valentine's Day by eating ribeye with baked sweet potatoes and salad, and I made chocolate chip cookies, of which I ate two small ones. We then watched a couple episodes of Swamp People and Too Cute! until about 10 PM. Bingley was sleeping on the couch between us so there was no cuddling. Tre romantic. *sarcasm* Oh well.
Today started off... oddly. I slept well, didn't even get up to pee, but the phone rang at 7:25, waking both of us out of a sound slumber. I think that set my mood for today. It was my MIL, returning our call from last night about Canadian income taxes. American income tax forms are a piece of cake compared to these Canadian ones. And we need to fill it out because my MIL put my husbands name on some savings bonds when his dad died. Without mentioning it to us. Even though he's no longer a resident of Canada. *facepalm* Paulo says the next time we go up there he's cashing them in, because we're paying HALF of the interest back in taxes!
So anyway, I make coffee, and while it's brewing, I weigh myself. I've gained 1.1 lbs. The Wii Fit has the balls to ask me why I gained. There is no option for "sodium" or "natural fluctuations due to that time of the month"....there's only "Ate too Much" "Didn't Exercise" "Ate Too Late" or "I Don't Know". I roll my eyes and choose "I Don't Know" because I ate in range, below sodium and drank 15 glasses of water. I weigh myself a second time in a different position. It's lower, but only .3 lbs. So it still reads up .8 lbs. Really annoyed now. But I notice I've positioned the Wii Fit platform closer to the TV than usual. So I move it back 4 inches to where I usually put it.
BLAM! 199.7 lbs!! I celebrate a tiny bit but I'm still annoyed because it took me 3 tries to get the correct number. And now I'm wary. I've never gotten a false low on the Wii Fit, only false highs. I know this because my lows are consistently 4 lbs lower than my doctor's scale.
Because of my caution I'm referring to today as the prologue to my adventures in ONEderland!
I FORGOT TO ADD THE GRAPHIC I MADE!!!!!!
