Know your numbers.
A) How many pounds will you lose to achieve your 5% weight loss?
From my last weigh in which was 239. I need to lose 11.95... let's say 12 lbs to reach my goal.
Current Weight: 239
Target Weight: 227
By When: April 20th, 2013
I will burn 358 calories doing 30 minutes of zumba. So 358x5 = 1790 calories burned each week.
When entering my new goal (239 to 227 by 4/20) under Goals & Progress/Pounds Lost it recalculated my calories to be 1440-1790 per day. However, I know myself and I think that is too many calories for me. I am going to scale back to 1200 - 1400 calories daily. I think that is more realistic for me to see results. And where my calories come from counts too. I will be eating mostly fresh vegetables and fruits, very little lean meat and dairy and virtually NO sugar, flour, corn, packaged or processed dead foods.
so ... now I know my numbers and how to achieve them:
My goal is to eat 1200 to 1400 calories per day
My goal is to burn 1790 calories per week doing 30 minutes of zumba 5 days per week
My weight loss goal is to go from 239 to 227 by 04/20/2013
