More housekeeping

Friday, February 15, 2013

Last week, I had a small adventure with cleaning out both of our refrigerators. It involved a piece of tempered glass landing on my toe (I never wear "real" shoes except when I run, so this hurt...a LOT). However, both fridges smell awesome and the goo from the inside of the door is all gone (what the hell is that stuff anyway, and why hasn't someone marketed it as a high power adhesive?) and you can see everything now. Today's projects: the pantry and the freezer! Ambitious? Yes, but I feel motivated today. Naturally, this came about while I was rummaging around looking for something to cook for dinner...

Wish me luck!

Go you!!! Cleaning out the fridge and freezer are the worst. My pantry is done pretty regularly, but the upright freezer....not so much! Wishing you success!

Been there. I now have a habit (sort of) of cleaning off one shelve of the refrigerator per week. That works pretty well. That forces me to discard, rearrange, etc that shelf and that shelf only.

Godspeed and good luck! One never knows what will be encountered in a freezer cleaner adventure.

I wish you the best of luck and be kind to those feet of yours. I had a cow step on my foot way back in a high school. emoticon
