I started to write up my blog last night, when my computer had a need to start updating. So here I am, getting caught up.
I rode Rio on Wednesday with my new friend. I worked Rio in the arena while my friend was getting her horse ready to ride. I really need a Cowgirl Hat. After all, I am a Hickok, and need to look the part. Eeeee Haaaa
We rode for an hour, and that was all I needed lol. I was so sore this time, but I did trot Rio longer this time in the arena then I did last week. I won't give up though, the exercise is a good thing. Rio had a smile on his face, so he enjoyed it as well.
After we rode we went inside the Goat pen. I held one of the baby females. She is so cute.
Stanley. He is a real love. He kept following DH and I around.
This Llama started to walk right up to me. I'm thinking, all right, what a close up. Seems the Llama wasn't to sure of my camera, so walked off and watched me from a safe distance.
We left the ranch, and drove up the road. I wanted to get some pictures of the Donkeys. They watch us every time we ride the horses past their corral.
We were driving down Leona Ave., and the Crows were sitting on a wire just looking around. One of them kept letting out a caw now and then.
Further down the road we saw a Red Shoulder Hawk and a Raven.
Twilight and Coca were out. I love taking pictures of Twilight. She is so photogenic.
We plan to go riding again today, but it is supposed to be windy. So I have to keep my fingers crossed the wind will be mild, but if today doesn't pan out there is the week-end. Have a good Friday!!
