Day 3: Real Talk

So I'm one of those people who literally can't lose weight (the traditional way). It's not that I don't adhere to the "rules", because I did. I tried everything- Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Seattle Sutton, Bistro MD, Personal Trainers, Insanity (and other strenuous exercise programs), going to doctors and specialists (Endocrinologists, Gynecologists, Allergists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists).
There are two times in my life I've lost weight. I starved myself in college (unhealthy), and I did the hCG diet before my wedding (unhealthy). For the longest time, I thought I was successful at losing weight from those two stretches of time because of the lack of calories. Turns out, I was successful at losing weight from those two stretches of time because of the lack of CARBS.
You heard it people, carbs are my enemy. Why do I say this, you ask? Because I'm ACTUALLY losing weight doing a low-carb diet. Yep. 1/2 pound each day so far. I don't feel the symptoms of "induction flu", I have plenty of energy, I don't feel hungry between meals, and I feel happy about it.
So for all you critics out there, critique away. I don't care. I'm happy I finally found what fits for me.
I honestly wonder if I've always suffered from some underlying condition that required me to eat low-carb to lose weight. PCOS? Metabolic Syndrome? I don't know.
