Well, the last 10 days, I have been fighting this bronchial cough. It is irriated by the effects of a sinus infection, brought on by allergies. In reality, antibiotics will not shorten the duration. This is an asthmatic cough.
I have had to put off walking to work until this passes. I do not want to prolong the coughing. It has wiped me out!
Last night, I got home from work at 6:30. I ate supper, then to the couch to rest. I fell asleep about 8:30 and slept until 4:30 this morning. It's a rare instance that I sleep that many hours. I am usually more productive on 5-6 hours. But this is twice in this course of coughing that I have given in to the sleep "monster" lol. I call it that because I feel like I am dragging my behind when I get too much sleep.
But on to what I have noticed... Even though I am getting my fitness minutes in, I am not working vigorously enough. I am not burning my total calories for the week, even with my activity level.
This has been true for at least the last two weeks. I am hoping that I can step it up soon. I would love to be able to record a loss again. I am holding steady at my current weight. So that much is good.
On to higher hopes for next week. Hopes for this respiratory system to level back out, to become a bit more productive in the exercise department. HUGS!!!
