Went to the doctor last week for my semi-annual check. It went well. She told me that I lost 5lbs that I had gained over the holidays. Honestly, I don't remember gaining that much. I think it was a case where I didn't remove my sneakers. emoticon

She ordered some lab work to check my cholesterol, which has been near the cutoff for needing meds.

Just got the results last night and my bad cholesterol went down 20 points!!
I attribute it to taking Red Yeast Rice supplement and oatmeal for breakfast most days! emoticon

    I bet all that exercise you have been doing helped too!

I was in the same boat with triglicerides for the past few years. Last fall, when I go my annual, they were way down in the normal range. I attributed it to all the biking I had been doing.

    Wonderful ! Once I had high triglycerides and the dr. Told me to take omega 3 fish oil I wonder if it would bring down cholesterol too?? emoticon

    That is HUGE! Great job!!! My man has had VERY high cholesterol for years and finally had to go on meds. OUTSTANDING accomplishment to be able to avoid this.
