Gratitude...Day 2/40

Friday, February 15, 2013

Today was a beautiful winter day. The snow glistened like diamonds in the sunlight as I walked to Bible Study. The ladies are such a joy. Sharing our personal struggles and successes is always a blessing. Our senior pastor dropped in with lenten booklets for our personal use this season. How kind of him to think of our little group. I am thankful today to be able to walk (something that multiple sclerosis prevented for nine years) and for the many caring people I have in my life. I am always thankful for the beauty all around. Dh gave me beautiful red roses for Valentine's Day and a beautiful card filled with reminders of his love. And...I am thankful that he did NOT give me candy!

So glad you could appreciate the day's beauty. And how thoughtful you Hubby was in sharing flowers; not candy. emoticon

Thankfulness and gratitude are an attitude sadly lacking for many people. Praise God that you are not one of them!

I agree no candy gifts, please.

.Amen to all! I understand your gratitude and am always filled with awe at all God allows in our lives. After struggling for nine years unable to walk you truly appreciate the gift now. God builds our character and strength according to His plan. emoticon .
