Evolving Health

Friday, February 15, 2013

My visits with Dr. Jeb Thurmond are like one continuous conversation with a friend. It started long ago, and each visit evolves into the next. There have been times when I have gone in on a weekly basis, and there have been times when Iíve gone months without seeing him. In both cases, our conversation takes up right where we left off.

At Evolution, I receive for more than just an adjustment-I receive support to analyze what is going on in my body, a quality evaluation on my whole bodyís condition and together we formulate a plan for optimum health. I have received help with everything from injuries, pulled muscles, diabetes and high blood pressure. You could say that my whole body receives an adjustment.

Why do I drive from Hillsborough to Keene when there are chiropractors in my own town? Itís the peace of mind from knowing that I am receiving excellent care from a well trained, seasoned chiropractor. I have never been disappointed with the results from my appointments.

Earlier this week I went in with pain in my hip. I called Sam the receptionist, and made an appointment with Evolution Chiropractic and Massage in Keene, NH. After explaining my condition, we determined the cause of the pain, and how to treat it. Besides the adjustment, Dr. Jeb gave me suggestions of exercises and stretches to use at home. Today (just 5 days later), I am almost totally pain free! Physical health and living pain free is so important. Iím able to keep hiking the peaks of New England and the world because I make my health a priority. I hope that you will take good care of yourself because you are worth it!

It makes pain management and diagnosis less stressful when you have the rapport with the specialist.

Way to go. I enjoy (if you can call it that) going to my chiropractor. My husband had never been a believer of going to that 'type' of doctor and now it is the first place he goes.

What a wonderful story of what health care needs to be like! for sure, if we are not at the center of the treatment team, and the treatment plan, it is doomed for failure. And if we look @ just one piece of the whole picture, things aren't going to improve either.

I am glad you shared this information w/us.

HUGS

When someone is worth travelling for, I'd do the same thing as you. You want to keep a relationship going with a good doctor.
