Ok, the Weber State University basketball game run-down. (Sorry to those of you who don't care) A few weeks ago Weber lost to Montana by 2 points, at MT. Tonight DH and I sat on the floor, third row from the court. Heavenly seats! The Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences sat to my left, after asking if we are us, by name. A few minutes later, the university President came in and introduced himself to us, too, and sat on the other side of the Dean. At half time, we joined the other folks (who sat on the floor) in a private room where we helped ourselves to tons of fresh fruit, some little wrapped meat thing-ys and decorated valentine cookies. Then we went back and enjoyed the remainder of the game. And yes, we ENJOYED it. Montana never did lead in the whole game, and Weber wiped the floor with them to the tune of a 24 point lead at the final buzzer. Did I mention that we had a BLAST!!!!
After the game, Weber's players came behind us (there was a walk-way between our seats and the regular stadium seats) and we high-fived and shook hands with many of them. Oh! What a dream night!
